This is the third organization I train with. This Christian organisation allow me to be transparent about my faith. I believe this allow me to be myself and express my true values about pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding. Once fully certified with them, December 2023, I will be a full spectrum Doula! with Childbirth classes, Trauma informed Doula, Infertiliy/ Natural Family Planning, pregnancy & Infant Loss!
Certified Thompson Method Breastfeeding Educator
The Thompson Method is a gentle, evidence based method towards a gentle birth and pain-free breastfeeding experience. It was created by Dr. Robyn Thompson, a midwife with over 45 years experience and research.
I am proud to be part of the Thompson Method Academy! As an Educator (certifying in March 2023), I feel confident and well equiped to help the mothers I serve.
MicroBirth Certified Educator
One of the most important part of long term health for our babies is the Gut Microbiome. And it turns out it all starts at Birth and flourishes with Breatfeeding. This training allow me to understand how we approach birth and breatsffeding has a long effect on our childrens health. I also give parent classes to inform families how their decisions during pregnancy are important. Let our children start on the right path to a healthy life!
My Story
It all started in 2015! Having the most amazing experience birthing my 3rd child after two traumatic births. I had done my research on how to have a natural and beautiful birth. I had trained my husband as my Doula hoping it would make a difference in the outcome. Well it did, It worked, and we where the talk of the maternity unit.
I started GrowingMoms as a certified Health coach helping women in the postpartum period. Soon after I knew I really wanted to be a Doula, and my husband was onboard for me living the On-Call life of a Doula!!
SInce then, I have been continuing my education in different areas in the hopes of making pregnancy, birth and postpartum a better experience for the mothers and families I serve.
